CHRC Working Group Conducted Educational Session on “Human Rights and Law” for NISA Students
Phnom Penh: On Friday, 22 May 2026, HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, President of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC), assigned HE Chham Mari, CHRC Vice President and Director General, to lead a working group to the National Institute of Social Affairs (NISA). The group presented an awareness session on “Human Rights and the Law” to 74 students, including 49 women. The presentation covered three main topics: Cambodia’s human rights protection mechanisms; rights, freedoms, and laws; and citizens’ rights and obligations.
The outreach concluded successfully and produced commendable outcomes, thanks to the close cooperation of the institute’s administration, teaching staff, and students.
