His Excellency Oum Narin, led a [CHRC] Working Group to educate on and disseminate “human rights and law”
On the Morning of Wednesday, 14 February 2024, His Excellency Oum Narin, member of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC), led a [CHRC] Working Group to Choun Nath High School, Kampong Cham province, to educate on and disseminate “human rights and law” to students.
These outreach activities aim to further raise their awareness of basic human rights principles, international human rights covenants and treaties and national laws in relation to human rights. It should be reminded that the CHRC regularly raises awareness of human rights to people, officials, [armed] forces, students and prac teachers in all municipality and provinces throughout the country.
The CHRC Working Group was warmly welcomed, at that time, by the principal, school management, teachers and students, which made these outreach activities a great success.
