Phnom Penh: On the morning of 8 July 2026, HE Nhem Bunthoeun, a member of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC) acting for HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, CHRC President, and Ms Por Sereyratana, Founder and Chief Financial Officer of NEXTGEN Hotel, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the CHRC and NEXTGEN Hotel.

This partnership seeks to modernise digital administration to simplify accommodation arrangements and lower hotel costs. Using a new technology platform, it intends to reduce administrative workload while improving convenience, speed, and efficiency for hotel bookings related to CHRC leadership and officials’ domestic and international work missions.

The MOU signing also reflects strong public–private collaboration supporting the Royal Government of Cambodia’s Pentagonal Strategy, Phase I, particularly the “Fifth Pentagon,” which emphasises developing a digital economy and society by driving digital transformation across government institutions to further improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
