His Excellency Ban Thero,lead a [CHRC] Working Group to to educate on and disseminate “human rights and law”
On the morning of Tuesday, 23 January 2024, paying close attention, His Excellency Keo Remy, Senior Minister, and President of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC), assigned His Excellency Ban Thero, CHRC member and Deputy Director General of the General Department of Investigation and Human Rights Education, to lead a [CHRC] Working Group to Serey Sophorn High School, Banteay Meanchey province to educate on and disseminate “human rights and law” to students, with the aim of further raising their awareness of basic human rights principles, international human rights covenants and treaties and national laws in relation to human rights.
The CHRC Working Group was warmly welcomed by the principal, school management, teachers and students, which made these outreach activities a great success.
