His Excellency Nhem Bunthoeun, led a [CHRC] Working Group to educate on and disseminate “human rights and law” to students.
On the morning of Tuesday, 19 September 2023, on assignment given by His Excellency Keo Remy, Senior Minister, and President of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC), His Excellency Nhem Bunthoeun, [CHRC] Member and Acting Director General of the General Department of Administration and Complaints, led a [CHRC] Working Group to Hun Sen Khnar High School, Tbong Khmum province, to educate on and disseminate “human rights and law” to students, with the aim of further raising their awareness of basic human rights principles, international human rights covenants and treaties and national laws in relation to human rights.
The CHRC Working Group was warmly welcomed by the principal, school management, teachers and students, which made these outreach activities a great success.
