Student Teachers of Kampong Chhnang Provincial Teacher Training College Participated in CHRC-Organised Educational Session on “Human Rights and Law”
Kampong Chhnange province: HE Keo Remy, Senior Minister, President of the Cambodian Human Rights Committee (CHRC), tasked HE Ith San, [CHRC] member and Director of the Department of Human Rights Education, representing HE Chham Mari, [CHRC] Vice President and Director General of the General Department of Investigation and Human Rights Education, with leading a working group to Kampong Chhnang Provincial Teacher Training College, on Monday, 22 June 2026, to conduct a “Human Rights and Law” awareness session for 30 (19 female) student teachers.
The session covered 1. Cambodia’s human rights protection mechanisms, 2. citizens’ rights and obligations, and 3. rights, freedoms, and laws.
The college’s director, management board, teachers, and student teachers warmly welcomed this educational and outreach event, contributing significantly to its successful outcome.
